Domain Name Registration

One of the first things you need to do in order to have a presence online is to choose and register your Domain Name. Your Domain Name is essentially the name of your website.

In Australia you are only able to register a Domain Name that is the same, or an acronym of, your Registered Business Name. That is, it is possible to have www.spinwebdesign.com.au or www.swd.com.au if either is available.

Having said that, there are a number of alternatives including .com; .net; .edu and many more. We will talk this through with you to work out the best alternative for your needs.

Once you've decided on a name, we'll register it on your behalf, listing your name as the primary contact and owner to ensure you retain ownership of the name.
